Our focus on safety and environmental management is unrivalled in our industry.
Hagstrom Drilling’s modern office, workshop, fabrication and warehouse facilities based in Canning Vale, Perth, covers 8,138 square meters spread over two separate properties.
With a comprehensive inventory of spares and consumables held in our warehouse we have the ability to fully support our equipment in the field and minimise any unplanned equipment downtime.
Hagstrom Drilling employs numerous maintenance staff including mechanic/fitters, boilermakers, and machinists for all the necessary repairs, fabrication, maintenance and rebuilds of our plant and equipment. With access to CNC lathes, milling and boring machines, our Machining department has the ability to build specialised parts and components to fit to our drilling rigs and the competitive advantage to engineer geotechnical tools from concepts put forward by our operators, which improve our methods of sampling.
At Hagstrom Drilling we have made a corporate decision to develop the company’s greatest asset – our people. All Hagstrom Drilling employees receive ongoing training and accreditation. We have developed a Training Framework which guides our personnel to achieve the nationally accredited Certificate III & IV in Drilling, which are recognised Australia wide. Opportunities are provided to Trainee Drillers and Drillers to further develop their theoretical knowledge of drilling by attending the DICAT course conducted by ADITC.
All Hagstrom Drilling procedures are rig specific and incorporate a level of national competency and along with the procedures all Hagstrom Drilling staff are required to understand and be competent in all company policies and the Hagstrom Drilling safety management plan.
