HD owns 4 modern drilling fleet. With this, it gives our drillers the flexibility to complete projects on a fast-track schedule and to ensure high quality service is consistently delivered to all clients. Since the commissioning of our new custom designed, truck mounted drilling rig in 1998 and the ability to offer our clients a professional, cost efficient drilling service, which has been lacking in WA. We have been able to purchase a Landcruiser mounted multi purpose-drilling rig, which will enhance our drilling capabilities.

HD drilling rigs are mounted and equipped for hollow auger/mud/air drilling in overburden materials and Wireline triple tube Diamond Core drilling in rock. A full range of overburden testing equipment is available. There is also a Wireline Packer for testing rock in all sizes up to "HQ". Coring and testing can be carried out on holes up to "PQ" size to a depth of 300 metres.

Where required, Water Tankers on 4 wheel-drive trucks are available. Some are fitted with a Hiab crane. Specially fitted barges are available for over-water programs. Each rig has in attendance a Landcruiser or Mitsubishi Canter support vehicle fitted with mobile/satellite phone.

HD operates its own engineering and maintenance fully equipped workshop that can adapt, modify and build from scratch a wide variety of drilling equipment, including mud systems, drill rigs, supporting vehicles, safety equipment and mud pumps. A daily, weekly and annually inspections are conducted by drillers include risk assessment and hazard identification elements. High maintenance and operating standards are maintained with rigorous inspections and a culture of continuous improvement.
