Roy Hill Geotechnical Investigation 2011
Hagstrom Drilling where engaged by Roy Hill Infrastructure Pty Ltd to perform geotechnical investigation on a proposed 300 km rail alignment project to faciliate the delivery of iron ore from the Roy Hill Minesite to Port Headland.
The course of the projected included the drilling locations of five proposed bridge sites (Great Northern Highway (10km south from Port Hedland), East Turner River, Chinnamon River, Gillan River, and Turner River) as well as for various infrastructure required to support the operation of the railway.
Hagstrom Drilling utilised drill rigs DR004 and DR011, along with their support equipment to facilitate this project.
